Join Us on July 4th for a Cornhole Fundraiser in Bay Park

Hey everybody, it’s Max Folkers, owner of Re/Max here in the heart of Bay Park. I wanted to reach out with a quick message to wish you a happy 4th of July and a happy 250th anniversary. I hope you’ve got some great plans lined up with family and friends this weekend.

If your Saturday morning is still open, I’d love to invite you to a wonderful community event happening right here in the neighborhood. Fire in the Hole is a 4th of July cornhole tournament, and it’s a fundraiser for our own Fire Station 25.

Here are the details you don’t want to miss:

• Event: Fire in the Hole, a 4th of July cornhole tournament
• Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
• Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Location: 4120 Napier Street, San Diego, CA 92110, right by the fire department
• Benefiting: Fire Station 25
• What to expect: 64 teams competing, food trucks, plenty of vendors, and lots of prizes, with Bay Park Coffee and the Poseidon Project open too
• Event Registration: Fire in the Hole Cornhole Tournament

There are still spots available if you’d like to sign up and compete. Even if you’re not playing, I’d love for you to come down, enjoy the morning, and say hello. It’s shaping up to be a great way to kick off the Fourth while supporting the firefighters who serve our neighborhood every day.
